History - Originally formed 9 June 1909 under the designation of 208 Hibernian Cadet Corps. NO records at HQ prior to 1930. In 1933 authority was granted for the corps to affiliate with The Royal Rifles of Canada. affil.: 1st Bn The Royal Rifles of Canada. On Mar 22, 1943 the Corps was redesignated as "208 St Patrick's Cadet Corps". In Nov 1965 affilation was changed to RRC/Voltigeurs. In 1967 the affiliated unit was redesignated as Les Voltigeurs de Quebec. Effective 1 jul 1973 change of sponsorship to Mr. William Mcnamara, Principal for St Patricks High School. In Feb 1979 this Corps was disbanded due to lack of participation of cadets and wastage of efforts from service and civilian sponsors. H.Q. 12-H-6
