Hard costs - Domain hosting, domain registration, long distance phone calls, computer upgrades, scanner upgrade, postage, shipping, etc. Average costs per month $250
Web site management - The median rate for a web developer is $25/hr. This site requires 100 to 110 hours per month of updating, this does not include actual research. Those hours have to come from my available time, the average work month is 160-170 hrs per month. I therefore contribute $2500 value to the site each month.
