Cdt Brandy Blum awarded best cadet Basic Cadet Course 2nd intake by Maj Russ Lacey, the late Capt Ray MacIssac in the background. Cdt Blum would go on to be awarded best 6 week cadet in 1993, bets CLI cadet in 1994, and eventually the Sword of Honour in 1996. She is today a CIC officer. (Lyle Johnson)
