Vernon Photo Gallery 1955

I attended Vernon in 1954 and 1955. Then went to Banff in 1956. These drawings came into my possession sometime during the 1954-55 period. I cannot remember where I got them or who drew them but thought they captured the "essence" of cadets at the time. (courtesy Jim Stanton)

A wonderful  Cam Leblond post card of downtown Vernon, if you were a cadet in the mid 1950s, this is what you saw when you visited town. Looking east along 30th (Barnard) Avenue, the clock tower was part of the original post office, long since demolished.  (Greater Vernon and Area Museum)
