The NCO refresher course on grad parade. The NCO refresher course was initiated in 1974 as a post camp training program, in 1975 it was moved to pre-camp running for 14 days of intensive training before the course cadets arrived. by the late 1980s it was reduced to 10 days and in the 1990s to 7 days and eventually to 3-4 days due to costs. Approx 1982. For years, a water fountain was located on the edge of the sports field immediately behind Dieppe Square, as cadets did not yet carry canteens its was possibly the most visited water fountain around. (Cam Leblond)
