After three days of field training, the platoon would break down to their three sections and begin the three day hike. Each day comprised of a 15 km route march along the plateau separating Okanagan Lake and Kalamalka Lake. Cadets would take turns taking bearings and plotting their next position, each sech section had a slightly different path to follow and would all lead to the next bivouac site. (F. Arseneault)
