Lt Ted Usher at the main entrance of the camp, 1974. Note the Westies hat badge, CIL officer at the time wore the regimental accoutrements of the affiliated unit. By 1980 the practice was changed and only CIL accoutrements were worn by CIL officers. Behind Ted is the crosswalk used to march across highway 97 onto Dieppe Square before the tunnel was completed. (Ted Usher)
