That’s Cadet
Captain Ted Usher on the tail end of Charlie Coy as 2 i/c of C Coy
for the Grad Parade held at Polson Park 1969.
Carl Shafleck from the Irish Fusiliers cadets from St.Thomas Moore High
School in Burnaby is in front of Ted. For many years, the cadet grad parade
was held at Polson Park, 1969 marked the last year the grad parade was held
in the beautiful park. Since 1970, every grad parade has been held on Dieppe
Square with the exception of 2000 when it was hastily rescheduled in F20 due
to a severe thunderstorm with gale winds. (Jack Usher)
