Many flights and busses continued arriving during the day with cadets from all across western Canada. In total 4 charter busses, 13 aircraft and 3 loads of cadets at the Vernon bus depot.
Another Westjet Boeing 737 arrives at Kelowna with a full load of cadets from Regina.
Transport section's busses leave for camp with 120 cadets from the flight.

General Braddock's 2000 British regulars are defeated by a combined force of 850 French regulars, Canadian militia, and native allies at Ft. Duquesne (near Pittsburgh, Penn.). Braddock and most of his force are killed while the French report the loss of barely a dozen men.
9 July 1944The city of Caen is liberated by Canadian and British troops, 33 days after it was expected to fall. During this time, 3500 Canadians have become casualties, but German ground and air formations have been decimated.
