1967 BCAA card

Vernon Army Cadet Camp

This little card was very useful for getting a new teen age driver's insurance rates lowered as it represented 8 hours of formal driver training by a provincial instructor in the "Drivotrainer"; an automated simulator that allowed the cadet to sit in a driver's seat and operate vehicle controls as a movie screen at the front of the class pictured a constantly changing driving route and traffic conditions. Quite sophisticated for the 1960s era.
