70th Anniversary
No. 9 Royal Canadian Army
Cadet Corps (London)
Commemorative Medal
This year marks the 70th Anniversary of No. 9 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps since it’s re-designation as a Corps in December 1940. As part of the celebration and commemoration of this milestone, the Corps has had a commemorative medal stuck. All former and current Cadets, Staff and Friends of the Corps are welcome to purchase one of these medals. If you would like to purchase one of these medals, please fill out the bottom portion of this form, attach your cheque for payment and mail to the Corps. We will be contacting each applicant to make arrangements for a suitable presentation either during a Commanding Officer’s parade, or at the 70th Anniversary Mess Dinner / Reunion which will be held on 16th April 2011. Band Competition for South-western Ontario
held the
15th of May 2010 at Essex Hall, University
of Western Ontario, London, Ontario
2nd Place
- Pipe Bands - won by
9 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps (London) Pipe Band **********
In
2009, 9 RCACC Pipe Band did NOT compete.
They
had a change in pipers and the goal was to train hard in 2009 and
compete
in the 2010 Cadet Band Competition.
In 2008, 9 RCACC Pipe Band won 1st Place.
