A tri-service band, could be the 1967 cadet band that and part of the tattoo show that traveled around BC for two weeks after training during the regular training camp at VACC. Appears to be an armoury in Vancouver of Victoria. Partly identified - Seaforth Armoury Parking Lot - thank you Janice Yeung. Any more details? date? Partly identified Just a note about mystery photos numbers 1-15 (excluding 13 &14). While most are obviously 1967 Centennial year photos, I am quite certain that the others indicated are as well. 
First point, the jeep demo was part of the 1967 final parade in Polson Park and I'm guessing went on tour with the tattoo. Oddly though, no cadets from D&M's Kilo Coy were involved in that demo ('was Cadet CSM of "Composite Coy" which included Kilo, Julliet which was signals and L(?) which was PT). Second point is that to my knowledge the sea and air cadets hadn't been to Vernon before 1967. Third point is that when I saw a formation of all army cadets for the Tattoo, they were wearing TWs with red(scarlet) berets to give them uniform head dress like the air and sea cadets. In those days only cadets of the "Westies" and the "Rocky Mt. Rangers" wore red berets.(Provost only wore forge hats).
Don't know much about the 1967 tattoo as D&M was busy driving trucks up in the hills and back country. Best part (aside from hands on with militay vehicle convoys etc) was that we could wear black coveralls much of the time and forego much of the tedium of uniform inspections! unknown5 - Partially solved - this was the quick assemble/disassemble jeep used in the 1967 CAF Tattoo. The jeep was a prop in a comedy skit where some robbers would drive up and park in front of a bank and while inside robbing it, people on the street would disassemble it and run away leaving parts spread out on the ground. When the robbers emerged from the bank and saw the jeep in pieces they would quickly assemble it and drive off with the keystone cops hot on their heels. The time to assemble or disassemble was about 1 minute. The guys in the pictures are practicing putting it together. They are probably RegF.  A couple of years later, the skit was performed by cadets of 2573 as part of a Cadet Tattoo. I helped train them along with Cpl Brian Pennie and Sgt Gordy Davis from 6 Field. The jeep had the radiator removed so we couldn’t run it for more than a minute or two. The gas tank held about ½ gallon of gas and sat on top of the engine (gravity fed) like a small engine. The tent in the background looks like a temporary “Bank” prop. The bank used in the show was made of plywood, and if I remember correctly, it was painted to look like brick. RCEME did a fantastic job modifying the jeep. It was hilarious. Thanks to Bob Irvine

(L-R) possible PC Police member, possibly Lt Gov George Pearkes VC PC CC CB DSO MC CD, unknown LCol RCA. Unknown reviewing officer, possible MP or other politician. Partly identified - The RO looks quite like Hon Robert W. Bonner, QC, Attorney General of BC under Premier W.A.C. Bennett.  He served with the SHofC during WW2 in 1943, Thanks to Dick Grubb. Partly identified -The Man at the Microphone on the reviewing stand is the Hon. Robert Bonner of the BC Social credit Government at the time. General Pearkes is not in this photo. I had the honor to meet him in the late 1960’s and he looked nothing like any of these men. Thanks to Arvid Hardin.  Partly identified - This is not a photograph of my grandfather, George R. Pearkes. Although there is a slight resemblance, in 1967, my grandfather was L-G of the province and would not have been in uniform having retired in 1945. Thanks to Timothy W. Pearkes Partly solved -  Just to add to the list of dignitaries in this photo, the reviewing officer is Robert Bonner. At the time of this photo he was the Attorney General to the Province of British Columbia. There is probably some significance to his presence at the Seaforth Armoury as he served with the Seaforth Highlanders in Italy during the Second World War. Thanks to Brian Watt

unknown12 - HRH Prince Philip with Queens Own Rifles cadets, more than likely Victoria pre 1970, unidentified CS of C Capt on right. Identified & Solved -  1970 visit by HRH Prince Phillip to 2483 QOR RC(Army)CC, the CSofC Capt is Bob Watt, CO of 2483 QOR RC(Army)CC.

unknown13 - A very interesting photo, from Vancouver appears to be 1960, dated 8 March 1967 on reverse along with Renfrew School 3315 East 22nd Ave Vancouver 12, BC

unknown14 - A Rocky Mountain Ranger cadet and a Seaforth cadet lowering the flag, appears to be the modern Canadian flag, therefore post 1965, possibly Vernon Army Cadet Camp.

unknown16 - unidentified range, Lee Enfields, could be 1960s or early 70s.  Partially solved -  Blair Range in North Vancouver, thanks Ted Usher.  Partially solved -  I’m not convinced its Blair Range. From what I remember as a cadet shooting there in the mid 1960s, there weren’t tree stumps on the range. Blair range was built like the standard pattern DND ranges with a clear field, mechanical butts and a good gravel road for servicing the butts. If it was Blair, from the angle this pic would have been taken from (facing toward NE), the background would be that of Mount Seymour, pretty much blocking out any sky. The forest around Blair was also different with taller evergreens and a few deciduous (alder) trees towards the entrance off Mount Seymour Parkway. Of course now its overgrown. There wasn’t a fence visible from the range, it was deeper in the sticks. I’ll see if we have a picture of Blair Range in the museum archives. The terrain and forest looks more like that found around the Chilliwack area, if it’s in BC at all. Thanks to Bob Irvine. - Now the debate begins - webmaster

unknown 21 - Vernon, possibly late 1980s early 90s? Looks to be a Admin section from Camp HQ. Anyone recognize anyone? Partly identified at far right Capt Richard 'Dick' Bunnett (deceased approx 10 years ago) Thank you to Ted Usher. The uniformed officer on the right facing the camera is Captain William Earl Bunnet..(deceased)....his brother was Richard (Dick) Bunnet who was never an officer...but a Civilian Instructor for a brief time... Thanks to Major Thomas Buchenauer. Note - there seems to be debate as to whether it is Richard or William, this is good and exactly what we're looking. I suspect someone else out there might know for sure. F.A. Partly identified - I was wrong. That is Bill Bunnet. I knew both of them. Thank you to Ted Usher.

Unknown 22 - Transport Coy Vernon, not sure what year

Unknown 24 - I know this is the first semi-permanent zip-line built at Vernon Army Cadet Camp in the 1980s(?), it was a huge leap. Any other details?

Unknown 25 & 26 - A very interesting pair of photos found in the League office in Ottawa, ostensibly from Vernon 1947 or 1948, though these is difficult to verify as this is no evidence any camp was held at Vernon in either of those years. However, a couple of former cadets have stated they were there those summers.
