Mystery 281 - Vernon 1980s or 90s (Wayne Emde)

Mystery 282 - Vernon 1980s or 90s, lots of faces (Wayne Emde)

Mystery 283 - an interesting series of cross country skiing pictures. A few clues: we know it is in the Montreal area, it is wartime or immediate post-war, the crest on the sweatshirt is certainly unique and more than likely indicative of the school corps and it's badge, any ideas?
