Corps was formed 24 Apr 1913 - designated "Walkerton High school Cadet Compnay" sponsored by "Walkerton Board of Education" - Eff 4 Jan 1943 it was affiliated with "97th Fd Bty RCA" Eff 3 Nov 54 Corps was re-designated "Walkerton District High School Cadet Corps, affil.: 21st Field Regt, Jan 1, 1955. and re-affiliated eff 12 Apr 60 with "21st Fd Arty". Again on 1 Feb 64 designation changed to "Walkerton District secondary School Cadet Corps." Eff 6 May 74 the corps was placed on probation due to lack of qualified instructor and an insufficient number of cadets attending parades. Effective 20 Feb 76 the Corps re-affiliated with 11 Fd Arty - Guelph.
