History
Formed 16 Dec 1911, the Corps was known as The Woodstock Cadet Corps. affil.: Carleton Light Infantry, Jan 28, 1925. On 1 Mar 1943, renamed the Woodstock Cadet Corps. affil.: 2nd (R) Bn Carleton & York Regt. Mar 17, 1943. It was sponsored by District 29, School Board. On Jan 1, 1955 the Corps became affiliated with 12th Fd Arty Regiment. In April 1966 affiliation was assumed by 32 Regiment RCA. No records (pre 1974) as to when affiliation was changed to 3 Fd Regiment RCA 89 Battery. Effective 4 Mar 1978 the Royal Canadian Legion in Woodstock assumed sponsorship.
This is the oldest continuous serving corps in New Brunswick.

318 RCACC Woodstock
Originally formed 16 Dec 1911 and known as “The Woodstock”. On March 1, 1943 it was renamed Woodstock Cadet Corps and was sponsored by District 29 School Board and affiliated with 3 Fd Regt. Affiliated with 12th Fd Arty Regt in 1955 or 1960 (conflicting info). Affiliated with 32 Regt RCA April 1966. No records (pre 74) as to when affiliation was changed to 3 Fd Regt RCA, 89th Fd Bty. Effective March 1978 the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #11 in Woodstock assumed sponsorship. We are still affiliated with 89th Bty 3 Fd Regt.
