2964 West Walden Irish Cadet Corps formed 1 Mar 79. It was sponsored by the Whitefish Lions Club and affiliated with 2 Bn Irish Regt of Canada. Effective 3 Mar 82 (D Cdts 176 message) changed sponsor to Sudbury Kiwanis Club. Change of designation from West Walden Irish Cadet Corps to Walden Irish Army Cadet Corps effective 11 Mar 87 (D Cdts Msg 492).
