History -
2963 Sunshine Coast Cadet Corps was formed 15 January 1979 and sponsored by Branch 140, Royal Canadian Legion, Sechelt, affiliated by the British Columbia Regiment and supported by CFB Comox. Effective 1 April 1985 (message D Cdts 900) the Corps changed affiliation to the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada.
