History -
The Corps was formed 1 Aug 78 as Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa Cadet Corps. It was sponsored by Branch 314, Royal Canadian Legion, Manotick and affiliated with Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa with its base support at CFB Ottawa. Message D Cdts 1094/26 Oct 83 changes location of Corps from Ottawa to Manotick. Eff 14 Jan 99 the affiliated unit changed to 30 Field Artillery Regiment, RCA (D Cdts Adm 028).
