This Corps was formed 11 Oct 72 and known as Corps de Cadets de Lavaltrie. It was affiliated with Fusiliers Mt Royal and sponsored by Alliance Estivale Lavaltrie and l'Association les Fusiliers Mt Royal (1961) Inc. Effective 7 Jan 76 change of designation and location to 2908 Corps de Cadets Optimiste l'Assomption, Quebec. Effective 31 Jan 78 change of designation to Corps de Cadets de Pointe-aux-Trembles. Change of sponsor to Le Club Optimiste Pointe-aux-Trembles et Montreal Est Inc.

Eff 28 Jul 97 the sponsor changed from Club Optimiste to M. Tony Trudel. (D Cdts Adm 452 refers).
