 Authority was granted in 1969 for the formation of this Corps under the sponsorship of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 60, the unit was designated as No 2843 West Vancouver Cadet Corps (Seaforth) and became affiliated with the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada.
