History -
This Corps was formed in Nov 62 under the sponsorship of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 126 of Mayerthorpe, the Corps was affiliated with the 19th Alberta Dragoons. affil.: 19th Alberta Dragoons, Nov 8, 1962. When the 19th Alberta Dragoons was put on the supplementary Order Battle the affiliation was taken over jointly by 8th Indep Signals Sqn (745 Comm Sqn) and Airborne HQ. Effective 3 June 1997, the affiliation changed from the Canadian Forces Parachute Maintenance Depot, Edmonton to the LdSH (RC) Calgary (D Cdts Adm 326)
