History -
This Corps was formed 1 Sep 62 under the sponsorship and affiliation of the Canadian Grenadier Guards, the Corps became known as 2709 Guards Cadet Company, Canadian Grenadier Guards. affil.: Canadian Grenadier Guards (6th Bn Can Grds), Sept 1, 1962. In Sep 73 this Corps absorbed the cadets from CC 2417 which was disbanded due to lack of facilities at Cardinal Neuman High School.
