This Corps was formed 1 Mar 61 and known as Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment Cadet Corps. It was sponsored and affiliated with the Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment. affil.: Lanark & Renfrew Scottish Regt, Mar 1, 1961. Message D Cdts 27 dated 16 Jan 79 states change of sponsor to Branch 72, Royal Canadian Legion, Pembroke. Effective 21 Jan 93 (D Cdts Adm 0069 refers) affiliation changed from the Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regt to 1st Air Defence Regt (Lanark and Renfrew Scottish) Royal Canadian Artillery and designation changed to 2677 1st Air Defence Regt (Lanark and Renfrew Scottish) RCA Cadet Corps.
