History -
This Corps was formed 1 Sep 57 and known as 8th Signal Regt Cadet Corps, sponsored by, and affiliated with 8th Signal Regiment, R.C. Signals. Effective 1 Apr 65 the Corps was redesignated Toronto Signal Regiment Cadet Corps, sponsored and affiliated with Toronto Signal Regiment, RC Sigs, CA (M). Effective 12 Apr 72 the corps became known as Toronto Communication Regiment Cadet Corps. In 1975 this Corps was placed on probation due to lack of numbers on parade and taken off in July 76 approximately. Address change recorded in database on 15 June 99 from Box 54548, 1712 Avenue Rd to 38 Haddon St.
Since inception, this cadet corps has received the generous service and support from the 709 Toronto Communication Regiment & Family.
