This Corps was originally formed 5 Dec 1913 as No. 24 Windsor Collegiate Institute. No. 24 was issued to Sorel College Cadet Corps 31 May 1889 and disbanded. Re-allotteed to Morinville Cadet Corps in Alberta 31 July 1909. and was also disbanded 05 Oct 1912. Redisig: A, B, C & D Coys amalgamated to Windsor central Coll. Inst. Cadet Corps March 1930. ON 30 Jan 1931 the Corps was redesingated to the Honourable JC Patterson Collegiate Institute Cadet Corps. Redisig: E coy to 1476 Hon. W.C. Kennedy Collegiate Institute Cadet Corps Mar 1930. redsisg: Hon J.C. Patterson Collegiate Institute (1930). It was disbanded due to lack of interest by sponsor. RCAC History indicates that the Corps was disbanded between 16 April 1934 and 19 Oct 1940
