History -
2309 Macleod Cadet Corps organized in 1946 by R.W. Ainscough. Then was officially formed 20 Apr 48 under the sponsorship of Macleod Civilian Committee and affiliation with 93 Fd Bty (SP) RCA. affil.: 93rd Field Battery (SP) RCA, Apr 20, 1948. In 1959 sponsorship was assumed by Branch 46, Royal Canadian Legion, Fort MacLeod. In the 1979 annual report the Corps was placed on probation until 31 Oct 79. In the 1981 annual report probation had been removed. 18th Air Defence Regiment is listed as affiliate since Apr 1993, and 20th independent Field Battery RCA is listed for 71-92. No auth
