History -

This Corps was formed 10 Jun 1947 and sponsored and affiliated with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles CIC CA (RF) effective 11 Jun 1947. Effective Oct 79 sponsor was changed to Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 1, Winnipeg. This Corps was placed on probation 20 Jul 77 until 31 Dec 77 due to weak training proficiency and numbers. Letter regarding history sent to corps 11 Mar 93.
