History -   

1849 Orangeville High School Cadet Corps was originally formed 9 Jan 42 under the sponsorship of the Orangeville High School Board and affiliated with the Lorne Scots (Peel, Dufferin and Halton Regiment). The Corps disbanded 1 Mar 1965.

1849 Peel and Dufferin Army Cadet Corps reformed 1 Nov 78 under the sponsorship of Branch 233, Royal Canadian Legion, Orangeville and affiliated with Canadian Forces Leadership Academy (CFLA), Borden. Effective 30 Sep 80 the Corps changed affiliation to Lorne Scots (Peel, Dufferin and Halton Regiment).
