History - Possible roots: 1868? Originally formed in May 1899 the Corps was known as the Barrie Collegiate Institute. NO records available at HQs. IN June 1961 the corps was redesignated as 52 Barrie District Central Collegiate cadet Corps and became affiliated with the Grey & Simcoe Foresters (RCAC). The corps was disbanded in Nov 1970. affil.: Grey & Simcoe Foresters 1958
