History -

Regina Public School Cadet Battalion. This Corps was formed on 17 February 1912 (MO 94/12) as a four company Battalion. E, F and G Coys were formed on 1 January 1913 (MO 289/13), followed by H Coy on 21 February 1914 (MO 86/14) and I Coy on 17 January 1916 (MO 30/16).

Drill Instructors for the Corps were provided by the local Militia Commander and it is assumed that they came from the 95th Saskatchewan Rifles until 1920; South Saskatchewan Regiment until the formation of the Regina Rifle Regiment on 15 May 1924. With the addition of the four companies, the Battalion was re designated as a Regiment effective 24 November 1920 (MO 436/20) with two Battalions as follows:

lst Battalion RHQ and A Coy Wetmore School, B Coy Strathcona School, C Coy Haultain School, D Coy Model School

2nd Battalion RHQ and A Coy Victoria School, B Coy Connaught School, C Coy Albert School, D Coy Benson School

All companies with the exception of C Coy 2nd Battalion were disbanded effective 3 February 1926 (MO 73/26) and the Corps was re designated as #321 Albert Public School Cadet Corps. The Corps was disbanded 27 June 1935 (MO 245/35). The Corps was re activated on 7 November 1940 (MO 260/40) and disbanded effective 12 December 1945 (CAO Supp 477/45).
