History -   

3021 was formed 31 Mar 1987 and is known as Smoky River Army Cadet Corps (D Cdts Msg 1214 of 231300Z June 87 refers). It is sponsored by Falher Lions Club and affiliated with Canadian Airborne Centre and supported by CFB Edmonton.

Falher Lions Club dropped sponsorship in 88. Parents Association is sponsor since 1989. No auth.

Formed 31 March 1987 and sponsored by Falher Lions Club.  Parents Committee became the sponsors in 1988 after the Lions Club relinquished sponsorship. Commanding Officer – Capt Bill Hart. 

For four years starting in 1989 the Corps was the Northern Zone Drill Champions and in 1991 they were the Provincial Army Cadet Drill Champions.
