3020 Royal Canadian Engineers Cadet Corps was formed 19 February 1987 under the sponsorship of Branch 249 - Royal Canadian Legion and affiliated with Canadian Military Engineers and supported by CFB Chilliwack. D Cdts Msg 1058 dated 1 Jun 87 changed the supporting base from CFB Chilliwack to CFS Baldy Huges effective 19 February 1987. CFB Chilliwack is listed as the support base on annual reports from 94 to 99.
