 3009 Corps de Cadets Ypres-Le Gardeur was formed 1 Apr 85. It was sponsored by Club Optimiste St-Paul l'Ermite Inc. and affiliated with Les Fusiliers Mont-Royal. The designation was changed from Ypres-Le Gardeur to Le Gardeur 28 Oct 94. It was supported by CFB Montreal. Eff 21 May 96 affiliation changed to 51 (Montreal) Service Battalion (UIC 5240) and sponsor changed to Les Technologies Industrielles SNC Inc. (D Cdts Adm 422). On 31 March 1998, the Affiliated Unit was changed to 4R22R.
