History -   

 2992 Arviat Army Cadet Corps was formed 1 February 1983. It was sponsored by Eskimo Point Hamlet Council and affiliated with NAHQ and supported by CFB Edmonton. 9 March 1994 the corps was placed on probation and recommended to be closed. Also, that year Leonard & Assoc. was listed on the annual report as co-sponsor but there is no authorization for this. It is also listed up to 96/97.
