2973 Corps de Cadets de St-Jean-de-Matha was formed 10 Jan 1980. It was sponsored by La Chambre de commerce de St-Jean de Matha and affiliated with fusiliers Mont-Royal. D Cdts 214 message dated 04 Mar 1980 changed designation to Corps de Cadets Louis-Cyr de St-Jean-de-Matha. Cdts 1594 message dated 7 May 1981 placed Corps on probation until 30 oct 1981. Cdts 1738 message dated 2 Nov 1982 removed probation. Eff 22 Sep 1992 designation changed to Corps de Cadets Arras (D Cdts Adm 5499 refers).
