 29611 Rae-Edzo Army Cadet Corps was formed 1 December 1978. It was sponsored by Arny's General Stores Limited and affiliated with NRHQ. According to the 1981 annual inspection report was placed on probation for failure to hold an annual inspection. Letter NR 1087-2 (SO Cdts) dated 4 Jan 83 removed probation.D Cdts Adm 789 (252012 Z Oct 96) gave authorization to begin disbandment of the Corps, but before the disbandment was completed, D Cdts 5 312 (282030Z May 97) gave authorization to reactivate the corps. According to reply from Region the unit has two sponsors, the Chief J Bruneau High School, which will provide trg, adm, storage areas (secure) and the Rae Edzo Sports Association which will provide the funding necessary. Sponsor agreement of 30 May 97 was received giving sponsorship to CJB Reg. High School.
