History -
This Corps was formed 1 Feb 1976 and known as 2942 New Dayton Cadet Corps. It was affiliated with 20 Independent Field Battery. It was sponsored by New Dayton Recreation Association. A letter 1087-0012/2942 dated 15 Apr 1977 states a change of affiliation to 1 Combat Group Military Policy Platoon. This Corps was placed on probation Jun 1977 until 31 Dec 1977 due to a poor efficiency rating at their Annual Inspection. It was then extended to 31 Jun 1978. Effective 32 May 1980 change of location, designation and sponsors to Raymond Army Cadet Corps, Raymond, AB. Sponsored by Branch 107, Royal canadian Legion, Raymond and co-sponsored by Raymond Lions Club, Raymond. It kept the affiliation with MP Platoon, 1 Combat Group Calgary. The corps disbanded 9 June 1984.
