History -
This Corps was formed 1 Sep 73 and known as Irish Regiment of Canada Cadet Corps. It was sponsored by the Lions Club of Capreol and affiliated with the 2nd Battalion Irish Regiment of Canada (Sudbury). The Capreol Lions Club terminated its sponsorship in May 86 and the Capreol Army Cadet Committee becames its official sponsor in Oct 86.
