This Corps was formed 1 September 1971 and known as 2887 Rocky Mountain Rangers Army Cadet Corps. It was affiliated with the Rocky Mountain Rangers and sponsored by the Canadian Legion, Branch 260. D Cdts 774, effective 25 Oct 74 changed designation to 2887 Rocky Mountain Rangers (South Caribou) Cadet Corps.
