This corps was formed 1 Dec 1970. It was sponsored by 'Cadet Organization Police School (COPS) Kitchener-Waterloo, and is affiliated with Highland Fusiliers of Canada. It was designated 2873 Kitchener-Waterloo Cops Cadet Corps. This corps amalgamated with 2921 Cadet Corps to form 1596 Cadet Corps 25 Nov 1987.
