History -   

 On its formation 30 Dec 69 the Corps was designated MacDonald Consolidated Cadet Corps under sponsorship with District 18 School Board. It affiliated with the 3 Field Regiment. It re-affiliated with the 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise's) (M) in Moncton in 1974 reference 1085-11-1 (Cadets), 13 Feb 74.
Effective 15 Jun 74 change of designation to Colonel John Saunders Cadet Corps. In 1979 the Corps moved to Sussex. 5 Feb 79 letter from Maritime Command states the corps is co-sponsored by the Sussex Legion and the School Board.

Address change made 22 June 99 from c/o 8th Canadian Hussars (M), P.O. Box 1398, Sussex to RR#1 Hatfield Point, Kings County.
