 Formed 5 Nov 1969 under dual sponsorship of 'Holy Name Society' and 'St Mary's Bay School Board' and designated as above. Affiliated with 'Royal Newfoundland Regiment'. The corps wa placed on progbation (see leter ARHQ: 1085-11-3 (DRO) dated 17 Feb 1982 ) for 1 year due to failure to parade and low strengths. The corps disbanded 11 Oct 1985.
