History -
This Corps was formed Mar 69 and known as 2850 Loyal Edmonton Regiment Cadet Corps. In Dec 72 the sponsor requested a change of designation and affiliation and the Corps was redesignated as 2850 Loyal Edmonton Regt (4 PPCLI) Cadet Corps. Support Base changed from CFS Beaverlodge to CFB Edmonton around 1992 (no documentation). 95/96 Annual Report states that they do not have a sponsor. It is sponsored by the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 54, Grande Prairie (no auth?).
