History -   

 This Corps was formed 17 Mar 69 as Centennial Highlanders Cadet Corps under the sponsorship of Centennial Branch 612, Royal Canadian Legion and affiliated with Lorne Scots (PD & H) Regiment. Message Unclas Cdts 1128 dated 21 Oct 74 changed affiliation to Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada. According to the 1979 annual inspection report the Corps was placed on probation and in the 1980 annual inspection report probation was removed. Effective 1 April 1992 (D Cdts file No 1085-11-2848, Mar 25/92) this corps was amalgamated with 2888 and was formed as the 1626 West Lincoln Army Cadet Corps.
