History - 

 L'Ardoise Cadet Corps was originally formed 10 Jan 69 under the sponsorship of the Richmond County Municipal School Board. The Corps was affiliated with CFS Sydney. It disbanded in 1 Sep 71.

Authority was granted to reform this Corps 1 Jan 75 under the sponsorship of Lower L'Ardoise Royal Canadian Legion Branch 110 and affiliated with the 45th Field Engineer Squadron (M) and designated L`Ardoise Legion Cadet Corps.
