History -   

 Formed 6 Dec 1968 under sponsorship of 'Colonel Gray Senior High School' in order to permit cadets to complete their training program. Two other cadet corps exist in the city but none teaches beyond Grade 9. The corps became affiliated with '5 Sigs Regiment CA(M)' - In Mar 1973 with the amalgamation and reorgaization of the school system, sponsorship was assumed by the 'Regional Administrative School Unit'. This corps was placed onprobation 29 Jan 1975 till 1 Nov 1975. Eff 9 Feb 1983 Corps disbanded.
