History -
Formed 15 Nov 1966 under sponsorship of 'Buchans Public School Board' designated 'Buchans Public School Cadet Corps'. Affiliated with Royal Newfoundland Rgiment. With amalgamation of school in the area sponsor is know known as 'Exploite Valley Integrated School Board' Letter ARHQ, 1085-11-3 (COS RO) dated 21 Dec 1984 placed Corps on probation for a period of up to one year due to the reasons outlined in the letter. Disbanded 31 July 1986 (D Cdts Msg 1091 of 061200Z Aug 86 refers).
