 2793 Corps de Cadets de Chambly was formed 1 Dec 65 under the sponsorship of Le Centre Recreatif de Chambly Inc., and affiliated with 3e Regiment du Genie Royal Canadien. In May 71 due to the disbandment of the affiliated unit, affiliation changed to 4 R22eR. In the 1971 annual inspection report the sponsor was Branch 34, Royal Canadian Legion. In the 1972 annual inspection report the sponsor was Cite de Chambly but no documentation received on either change. On 8 May 73 (1087-11-5749) affiliation was changed to 6 R22eR. Message D Cdts 344 dated 18 Apr 80 changes affiliation to 51 Bataillon des Service. Eff 18 Mar 93 (D Cdts Adm 300) Le Regiment de Maisonneuve became the new affiliated unit. Eff 21 May 96 sponsor changed to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 34 (D Cdts Adm 421).
