History -   

 The formation of this Corps under the sponsorship of The Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 20 was authorized in 1963 and was designated as No 2744 Royal Canadian Legion Branch 20 Cadet Corps. Their affiliation was with the Rocy Mountain Rangesr. In 1964 a change of designation was effectd and the Corps became known as 2744 royal Cnaadian Legion Cadet Corps. In 1968 affiliation was changed to 44 Field Squadron.
