History -   

Originally formed in Sep 1962 under the sponsorship of the 7th Field Artillery Regiment. affil.: 37th Field Artillery Regt, Sept 1, 1962. In April 1965 the sponsorship was taken over by 7th Field Battery and the Corps was redeisgnated as 2711 7th Fd Battery Cadet Corps. In Nov 1967 the Commission Scolaire Regionale de Chambly assumed sponsorship of the Corps and it was redesignated as 2711 Corps de Cadets de charles Lemoyne de l'École Gérard Filion. The Corps became affiliated with 2 Fd Regiment. In Jan 1969 the corps was put on probation. Action was taken to disband the Corps in June 1971 due to a lack of interest from the school. Authority was granted to disband the corps eff 15 Aug 1971.
